Through the applications of its core values of Obuntubulamu, diversity, innovation, integrity, and preservation, the Nnabagereka Development Foundation is committed to the engineering, employment and sharing of effectively powerful, deeply community-engaging and innovative ideas/methods to tackle challenging development problems.
From its founding in 2000 by Her Royal Highness The Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda, the Foundation has been led by a board of trustees and a governing board responsible for supervising its affairs, overseeing management and furthering the charity’s overall purpose as well as setting out its direction and strategy.
Our trustees have a deep, personal commitment to our mission. They lead the Foundation through their expertise, their knowledge of the communities we work with, and their passionate belief that an equitable, inclusive and peaceful world grounded in human virtues is possible.
The Nnabagereka Development Foundation Board Governors are a diverse group of people, all volunteers, with a common interest in the Foundation; its staff, work and loyal to the the Buganda Kingdom of which it [NDF] forms a part. Each Governor brings a unique set of strengths and skills to the Governing Board, but all have a commitment to helping the Foundation.
The Nnabagereka Development Foundation was incorporated in the year 2000 as a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Uganda, Reg No. 2771. It is a registered nonprofit organisation with 501(C) status in the US.
As a nonprofit Foundation we adhere to our Bylaws as enacted. This binding document provides unequivocal rules and regulations of the Foundation’s affairs and its top leadership. We also have in place committees of the Board that further govern the Foundation’s activities.
