(The Foundation) is a charitable organization registered in Uganda and the United States of America. It was founded by Her Royal Highness Sylvia Nagginda, the Nnaabagereka (Queen) of the Kingdom of Buganda.
While the Foundation is an independently registered organization, it is part of the Buganda Kingdom structure and amplifies the Kingdom’s reach and impact on a local, national, regional and international level.
Since its inception in 2000, the Foundation has actively been involved in making a positive difference in the lives of children, youth and women in Uganda.

The Ekisaakaate Kya Nnaabagereka has empowered over 41,500 youth locally and abroad with leadership and Obuntubulamu values, while partnerships have trained 4,721 children and parents on critical social issues.
Through the DREAMS initiative, 76,432 girls and young women have been supported, alongside 13 million Ugandans reached through health campaigns. Bursaries and resources have kept disadvantaged girls in school, while His Majesty, Kabaka Mutebi, has championed gender equality and condemned domestic violence.
The Foundation has completed impactful community projects, supported youth income generation, and promoted sustainable development through Obuntubulamu values recognized by the UN.

Our work focuses on balancing positive cultural values with contemporary ones to address development challenges. This innovative development approach is making a difference at the national level and can be a model for others in other parts of the world.
The Foundation applies this mix of modern and traditional lifestyles approach to address societal development challenges. The current five- yea
