The Foundation is registered as a Non-Governmental Organisation in Uganda and is recognised as an 501(c) non-profit organisation by the US government.
We directly dedicate all donor contributions towards Children, Youth and Women programmes. In practising transparency, NDF undergoes independent and rigorous financial audits year in year out, and we make the resulting reports public and available online.
Additionally, we invite our partners to personally visit the work we do in Uganda and elsewhere. We want as many supporters as possible to meet our staff on the ground and witness the impact of their contributions directly.
We consider our supporters as direct partners who help us make tangible strides towards an equitable, inclusive and peaceful world grounded in human virtues. Our biggest source of finance is the support from donor foundations and other institutional funds.
Our other sources of income come from the public and individuals funds forming a small percentage of our total income and are only used for occasional specific projects, as well as from the sale of our material.
In principle, NDF does not accept any donation or any other form of benefit from private individuals, companies or institutions that could bring the Foundation into disrepute or compromise its values, independence and its ethical credibility.
NDF is directly involved in the community with its unique activities.
In 2000, our Royal Founder envisioned NDF to leverage culture for development.
We are an equal opportunities employer, committed to making a positive difference.
